After returning from a Fulbright-Hays Seminar, Ms. Marilyn Lee-Mauger wanted us--her students-- to experience India as she had.  Since she could not quickly organize a school trip, she decided instead to utilize her knowledge of India and the various books she acquired there by assigning us research papers that we could juxtapose with our reading of E.M. Forster's  novel, A Passage to India.

We delved into our various topics with vigor, using books from India, the internet, information from Fulbright scholars via e-mail, and Forster's novel.

We are now on line, and our ideas and research are now available to the student body--and the world. All fifteen of us hope you enjoy our essays, which reveal an intricate portrait of Forster's novel and India itself. Thank you for coming along with us on our respective "passages to India."
